The Evolution of Honey Girl

Honey Girl is an urban story of a young girl coming of age in Brooklyn, New York. Honey Girl, played by Mirena Alston, finds just trying to get by each day, to say the least, can be difficult at times. Her best friend Dee, played by Quyn Wright, looks at life as one continuous party. The movie explores their close relationship as they are confronted with their daily trials and tribulations. With everyday real life street corner characters and a sound track of gritty, funky R&B music. Honey Girl is a must see to survive living in the hood.
